(261 posts)I had to google it to realize he had just learned about the death of his cohost Michael Brooks. I had been missing Michael since the pandemic, when his appearance on the show was down to 2 days a week. Now I will just miss him, period.

(24,380 posts)This was a man who was and would have been, a powerful progressive voice for decades to come, as he was a strong advocate for the worker, for fair wages, for unions and for progressive change.
I listened to him regularly on The Majority Report.
Way too young.

(11,752 posts)I didn't always agree with Michael Brooks. I did find his impressions and Right Wing Mandela to be hilarious. I just learned about it today as I was looking for a Michael Brooks episode and the TMR reaction to his death came up. As I watched Seder and Jaime Peck get the news, it really hit me hard.
Knowing that I will never see Brooks do another show, chime in or that laugh when Sam Seder was debating a libertarian, that makes me feel such a loss.
