I also think he is tired/bored of this president thing, and probably only cares about being reelected because of his pride.

but yeah, there's gonna be quite a lot of heavily armed people, whether official or otherwise, intimidating voters, especially in heavily democratic areas of swing states.

But he's not going to get there before the election unless he starts bombing hospitals and/or issues the order to "fire at will" on protesters AND he has enough of his cult entrenched in the military to allow those 2 things happen.
It is going to go from bad to worse before the election, but the worst will come after the election and before the inauguration.

I still think that there is no way this happens. Everybody other than his die-hard MAGA cult supporters will revolt at that point. Any attempt at suppression of voting will run the risk of suppressing his own voters as well. There are lots of Democrats in Red States and vice-versa. Plus, I don't think that he has the power or popular support to launch a coup. And the military has already signaled that they would not be behind him. Which is why he's turned to using DHS personnel in his current actions in Portland and probably elsewhere soon.

That boat! If that were his plan, he should have started some time ago. The logistics at this point are just not possible. Takes a lot of time to organize, plan, strategize ...get all the team players in place. First you gotta have a good sized army of vandals to shake things up, and ya gotta do it in enough cities to make it look legit. It’s just not that simple

There are lots of things we thought he was incapable of, and its always SSDD (Same Shit, Different Day). He's doing a trial run in Portland now, and soon to be coming to a Democratic city near you. "Stay off the streets", (Don't even think about coming out to vote, unless you're a rethuglican). "And none of that mail-in voting either!"

If voter turnout is way down, he's sure he'll win in Nov. Yeah, I think he's capable of that.

I hate to say this but he might do something worse. Kind of like Portland but in every town and city and the brutality will be several times worse. His goons will be allowed to do any damn thing they want. I mean anything and without consequences at all. Maybe it is a conspiracy theory but all the things that have been going on were once conspiracy theories also.
