Please excuse this tech question in GD. Not very many people will see my thread in the help forum. Several of us have commented on this problem. Are there more out there?
What happens: some posts are superimposed directly on top of other posts. And there are some spaces between posts that are filled with vertical lines.
Anyone?

Please note, the "alert" screenshot was altered only because I didn't want any additional drama, but more importantly, was because on my screen it was where one posts was overlapping, then alerting caused the alert screen to fall behind the overlapping post.

(50,130 posts)I have used the same OS as long as I have been on DU. Same computer, too.
This started a couple of weeks ago. It's driving me batty.

It started after a troll sent me a couple of DU mail messages. (and i know they were a troll because after sharing a few emails with me they accidently sent me a message meant for another troll friend talking about how stupid I was and how i was a liar).

(426 posts)In ie, there may be an icon near the address bar you can click on to turn on compatibility mode - you may have clicked it accidentally (I did). I clicked it again to turn it off and everything went back to normal.

(53,339 posts)In the latest version of IE it's called "Tracking Protection" instead of "Compatibility Mode."
It gives you the option to "turn off tracking protection," and doing that solves the problem.

(30,540 posts)and wait. If I push sumbit again I get an error message that says I'm not logged in or I tried to duplicate a post. Odd thing is my post still goes up but it takes like 5-10 minutes. This has been going on everytime morning at that time for about a week and a half.
