it was a something he picked up from his Scottish mum. Probably the same for his pronunciation of 'film."

My first retail job was at a gift shop at Marineland, and one of the other cashiers had to explain it to me when a customer asked for "feeyum." Heard it many times a day.

tend to say 'filum', in the same way the name Colm is 'Colim'. Has to do with the Irish language I would imagine. But no idea why dumbass would say it that way.
