SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Tennessees coronavirus case count has surpassed 100,000 after more than 1.4 million tests have been administered across the state.
The Tennessee Department of Heath announced 100,822 confirmed cases as of Wednesday afternoon with 1,020 deaths and 4,482 hospitalizations.
So far, 62,129 people have recovered from the virus.
TDH reports the average age of Tennessees coronavirus cases is 39, but the highest percentage of cases -- 24 percent -- is among people 21 to 30. White residents make up 43 percent of the states cases while African Americans account for 19 percent.
Their idea of "recovery" is bs! Does not mean what the word implies. There are 2 criteria, one of which I cannot recall (apologies), the other being simply 3 weeks out from being diagnosed!
Every news story on covid in this area shows how many "recoveries" there have been. 🤬
Open schools? Not no, but HELL NO!
During shutdown, Shelby County had approx 80 new cases daily, now nearly 400 & some days over 400!
I wish our lawmakers would get that traitor out of the WH!
