The strategy was to open up and show a big increase for next quarter which will be released in October just before election.
Instead we got an increase in infections and death.

1.4 million first time applications for UE, that's absolutely catastrophic in any year but this. The 3rd quarter is not going to be great, in fact it could end up shrinking slightly again because things are having to be shut back down.
All avoidable.
