(3,427 posts)The lies will come so fast that Biden and the moderators won't be able to refute more than a fraction of them. The obligatory fact-checking will be done after the debate, of course, but everyone already knows Trump lies, and his supporters don't care. This is why I think any debate with Donald Trump will be a waste of time. It will just give him another platform to disseminate his lies.

(10,667 posts)For Trump, an audience is like a wingman, and a nearly indispensable one at that. With some careful strategic thinking and planning on team Biden's part, Biden can take maximum advantage of its absence and have Trump a blathering blob rolling on the floor by the time he's done.
