State shoots down popular Oahu church's fake face mask waiver Hawaii)

"HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - As coronavirus cases rise in Hawaii, one of Oahu’s largest churches has been accused of preaching the wrong message in regard to wearing face masks.

As recently as Monday morning, the website of Calvary Chapel of Honolulu had a link to a document that appeared to serve as a waiver form for mask wearing, saying individuals can be exempt from donning a face covering because ‘wearing a face mask is far more hazardous than the threat of coronavirus.'

The document was meant to appear like an official government message, complete with a seal from the Department of Justice."

.

Religions are losing congregants and many traditional churches are embracing more extreme Christian views and incorporating them into services as a way to draw in more people, giving the more money and power. You'll see churches offering Traditional (old school) and Progressive (Pentecostal) services. They'll also allow other churches to hold sessions at their church.

Like cults, these charlatans fear the loss of attendance might cause the congregant to distance themselves and possibly leave the church, so it is important to continually engage with them, even if there is a health risk. These 'ministers' see their flock as sheep to shear for money. Many also depend on congregants to volunteer time performing facility work that they would otherwise have to pay others to perform.
