So many things need to happen. Start with "defunding the police", meaning have other agencies deal with many of the tasks that are now responded to with guns and threats and cruelty. Weed out some of the 'bad cops' and promote those who buy into a community policing philosophy. Suspend anyone - without pay - who 'forgets' to wear his body cam. Hire new people and train them to tear down the blue wall and be a part of the community that they serve.
