Biden for President Unveils New Website

Today, ahead of the general election, Biden for President unveiled a new website that underscores and illustrates a central theme of Joe Biden’s campaign: unifying the country. The Democratic primary presented voters a historic field of candidates that reflect the widespread talent, diversity, and strength of our party and country, which is why Joe Biden worked hard to assemble the broadest and most diverse coalition to ensure we make Donald Trump a one term president. Today’s new website reflects Biden’s long standing commitment to unity and welcoming all kinds of supporters to Team Joe, drawing inspiration from key design elements used by former presidential candidates and adding new features that will reach more Americans.

The website has too much asking for money and seeking volunteers.
Biden needs mor info on how he is not a far left candidate and not a socialist. It needs to state that he will serve a market economy with optimum regulations to keep everything honest to create a win-win situation for the rich, middle class and poor alike.

My only real complaint is the splash page. Splash pages are decades out of date, and a fund raising version is pushy bordering on tacky, even for a political campaign. Once past the splash, the main site donation info is visible just 'above the fold' and there's a dropdown mast that follows you as you surf down the page. That's more than enough of 'I need your $' without the splash before the site even loads, imo.

That said, the page design is vastly improved from the old site: latest news, volunteer opportunities, policies, merch are all there without having to scroll forever or dig through menu layers. The graphics are bright and fun, and it's well organized and interesting without being too busy. I never really wanted to visit the old page; I'm looking forward to touring the information on this one and getting more involved than a little donation here and there. They really did a great job overall.

Paid for by Biden For President, a campaign made up of 2.9 million grassroots donors — and absolutely zero malarkey.
