A Tour of Live Webcams of Popular Tourist Sites in the U.S.

It is summer. At this point of time, U.S. tourist hot spots would normally be jammed with people enjoying themselves or working. So, how did Republican demands to minimize the potential impact of COVID-19 and then rapidly re-open work out for us?

Well, these real time scenes speak for themselves. Also, seeing these scenes of everyday life throughout the U.S. makes you wonder about the Federal Government's reporting of the economic impact of COVID-19. You have to think that the impact is even more devastating then the stock market would otherwise suggest.

I like livecams. I have watched hurricanes until the camera is put out of commission.

There's a White Castle on Fremont Street? I haven't been downtown since I had jury duty.

...things are starting to pick up again almost like Memorial Day Weekend, which precipitated a rush to reopen.

Normally this would be the high season and most tourists are not going to go to popular spots. I know that I have definitely cut back on even local trips.

...but that is not nearly the normal amount for a Summer evening. Normally, you can barely walk straight on Fremont Street during the high season at night.

Still, that is more than enough people for me to be comfortable in a pandemic environment.

Beaches in India, Hawaii, Indonesia, Morocco, literally, the whole world. Takes a little navigation but worth it.
