Pence: Chief Justice Roberts 'has been a disappointment to conservatives'

Roberts sided with the court's four liberal justices in the Louisiana abortion case and the Nevada church case. He also was part of a 5-4 majority that blocked Trump's attempt to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and he sided with the 6-3 majority in a ruling that workers can't be fired for being gay or transgender.

The decisions have drawn outrage from conservative lawmakers, but Pence's criticism marked the first time he or President Trump have explicitly called out Roberts for his rulings.

The fascists are disappointed he's not a corrupt, completely partisan hack like they are.

6. Pence is a disappointment to all but Trump, and not the brightest star in the galaxy

Roberts made Citizens United possible, without which Pence would be a host on National Hate Radio. Roberts also gutted the Voting Rights Act, which made Democratic victories only possible against a strong handicap favoring Republicans. In the past 20 years, virtually all "surprise upsets" have been "surprise REPUBLICAN upsets." We have to win decisively to even have a chance of being declared the winner in any presidential or Congressional election.

Roberts throws us bones because he is a smart tactician, not because he has an ounce of moderation or compassion hidden somewhere.

when you attempt to select Supreme Court Justices bases upon their political purity rather than their legal merit.

They don't want judges, they want ideologically partisan enforcers. 80% alignment, even 90%, just ain't good enough.

I'll let you look up some of the things said about David Souter when he, too, turned out to not be as politically reliable as they'd thought.
