Trump outraises Biden in July, breaking opponent's short streak

"The president’s campaign and the RNC reported raising $165 million, compared with $140 million for his opponent’s campaign and the DNC.

President Donald Trump raised more money than Joe Biden in July, after falling behind his Democratic rival for two straight months.

Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee reported that they raised $165 million last month — an amount they said eclipsed any single month in all of 2016. July was the largest online fundraising event so far, the campaign said.

Biden’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, meanwhile, reported $140 million in July. The overwhelming majority of donations — 97 percent — were at the grassroots level, with the average contribution coming in at $34.77, the campaign said.

Trump’s campaign also reported having more cash on hand than Biden, with $300 million in its war chest to Biden's $294 million. Still, Biden’s on-hand cash increased by $50 million compared with the previous month, his campaign reported.

The RNC also announced a spate of new hires, including 300 field staffers, bringing the Trump reelection effort to a total of 1,500 employees.

The average Biden donations for Joe Biden, 97%, were at the grassroots level.

The article doesn't mention where the majority of trump's donations came from, but I would suspect that a large amount of their donations came from wall street and the like

We will win this if we get out the vote

what I'm really saying is that you can bank on at least 3-4 "Dems in Disarray" stories from Politico every week until election day.

negative slant than the other outlets

It also noted that the bulk of donations to Biden were mostly from grassroots support which is amazing.

It is pretty well assured where trump's money is coming from, and that most likely is the 1%, and probably illegal foreign money which isn't getting reported
