Kanye West

His fanbase is young white men. Who generally don't vote reliably nor vote for Democrats reliably. Anyone insinuating he is going to peel the votes of black people away from Democrats is insulting the intelligence of African Americans. And the Republicans who think that he will do so and who are pushing his candidacy are idiots.
It's about as insulting as telling me, as a gay man, that a theoretical campaign to run Milo Yiannopoulos would be a ploy to attract the gay vote.
Just stop.

educated would vote for Trump--after scores of women had come forward to accuse him of assault, harassment or rape and after the Access Hollywood tape, I'd never have believed you either. Or that a significant number of professed Obama-voting Dems would vote for Trump. Or that sufficient numbers of Dems would vote for Jill Stein in the spoiler role in battleground states, thereby delivering the win to Trump, I'd never believed you either.

He isn't running and those promoting him are not doing so to win but to disrupt in the close scenario that played out in 2016.

I actually think it will backfire on Trump and his ilk and that African Americans will readily see through this scheme. That said, I don't pretend to know how every person will ultimately vote--including Kanye's music fans, whoever they may be. 2016 should have taught us not to take anything for granted.

If you are prepared to do the latter, just STOP.

Figuring out how to continue getting people registered, checking their registration, and then voting with all the obstacles in our way are the real issues.

2. Racists being racists. Republican operatives being racists.

White supremacist Republicans would never vote to put a Black man in the White House.

Conversely a Black person would always vote to put a Black man in the White House because they are racists just like white people are.

Every Black voter down to the last, will now switch their vote to Kanye West.

(How Republican operatives intend to give trDump his second term win. By splitting the Biden vote with Kanye West,.. making him an election spoiler, so trDump can glide to a win for his second term.)
