The government should help more needy people even if it means going deeper in debt.

Mostly disagree.
The government should help more needy people even if it means raising taxes, stopping these mindless wars, and cutting oil company subsidies.

One parent can bring up a child as well as two parents together.
Mostly disagree.
Assuming the two (or more) parents are loving and have their sht together, two or more incomes make it a helluva lot easier to raise a child than one income. On the other hand, two loving gay parents are 1000% better than one deadbeat, abusive straight parent.

I too thought some of my answers would make me a moderate. I took the test 3 times. With each test it scored me as a lib.

It's pretty poor that they couldn't think of 12 political questions, and had to pad it out like that.

Most of the "agree" points that got me to flaming liberal, outside the typical democrat...shouldn't they BE typical democrat and not seen as the extreme left? The middle ground has shifted so far right that, suddenly, agreeing on things like protecting the environment shoves you left rather puts you as a regular democrat or moderate republican?

I was expecting to be in the middle of the blue. I scored well left of very liberal. The test does neglect firearms issue. I do like guns and love to shoot them but rocket launchers need to stay with the military
