1. That sounds like a possibility

Geologist here, with knowledge of oil/gas well completion operations. Where are you located? State, County, lat/long coordinates, not of your location, but of a nearby public installation, such as a retail store, state/local/national park or landmark. I am very familiar with the oil/gas state's public databases which include current information on individual wells being drilled/completed in your area. You might be surprised at what information I can give you. All for free, including the citations as to where to look on the internet for the info. I'm surprised, given the downturn in oil/gas prices that anyone company is completing anything at this point. The moulah gods say that now is the time to shut in (temporarily plug) your prospective producers, and don't waste money on completions at this point. I'll be very interested in your info. 2. They have been in the process of planning a

Cracker plant in this county for years but never have formally announced if they will actually build it. I assume that is why they are still drilling. There are hundreds of wells in this county I think the most in Ohio now.
