I love this quote from a white neighbor re: Black Lives Matter

Some white guy kept erasing the word "Black" from Black Lives Matter" that a mom and her 3-year-old daughter wrote in chalk on their sidewalk until neighbors found out and banded together to support them. This is what one woman said:

Here's the story:

Thank you for bringing us this wonderful story.

The stories need to be told, over and over and over. The word will get out; we will come together and not be separated from one another.

What a perfect retort to "all lives matter!" I will use it.

the Mexican border and the Native Americans with no water and dieing of Covid out west who are also being abused. All the non-white races are being massacred.

When my kin loaded up their ships with English tenant farmers and Irish tenant farmers to farm the British Colonial America they first had to clear the land of trees and redskins. So we as decendants of Europeans we always abused those not like us.

I just dislike it symbolizing only 1 group we abused.

I live in a very diverse neighborhood. We have Africans next door, African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Arabic, and Indian people. All are welcome.
