So that phrase was something I heard a lot in my 29 years in the Navy. It really has become the prominent policy of the Retrumplican Party.

There are a shit ton of people whose operating life philosophy is "shit happens".

They may take the cancer treatment, but ultimately, it's God's will, or fate whether they live or die.

That's what we are up against.

If you're poor, it's just fate.

If you're sick, it's just God's will.

Gee, there's no reason we should try to do anything, because it's in the hands of God, or fate.

Should we try to do something? Naw, just "nuke em all...let God sort em out"
