Trump is using press conference to spout crap and the media gave him free coverage just like in 2016. They need to be more aware of what they are allowing Trump to get away with!

he's a clown show...his circus of lies and stupidity makes a shit ton of money for the networks...the reporters that he insults post it to their Instagram and Facebook pages and get 1000 likes.....it's a win for them..to paraphrase the late Marshall McLuhan.."the media becomes the message"...the orange imbecile is playing to his equally moronic base...that's it...and Biden is doing fine..again..you don't kill someone when they're committing suicide..

(34,857 posts)Biden rarely does any interviews. I'm sure MSNBC, CNN and FOX would love to give him an opportunity to speak about things. He just doesn't ever seem to take 'em up on it.

(26,044 posts)As far as I can tell from the news coverage, Trump is running unopposed this time around...
...and is still predicted to lose.
But you're right to be annoyed. Historically, one of the great flaws of the American voter is a tendency to elect the candidate who keeps them entertained the most (Reagan, Ventura, Ahnuld), rather than the more-competent alternative who seems faceless by comparison. And there's no surer way to make someone faceless than by ignoring them altogether. In the end, though, this is all on Biden and his campaign; they have to find ways to force themselves into the spotlight.
