Man punches Sesame Place worker who asked him to wear a mask

Police are searching for a man who punched a 17-year-old Sesame Place employee after he was reminded to wear a mask, reports CBS Philly. It happened Sunday at the amusement park in Langhorne.

Police say the worker informed the man and a woman about the requirement to wear a mask in the park.

Later in the day, police say, the man confronted the teen worker and punched him in the face.

The couple was chased by park security but got away in a car with New York license plates.

The sooner we do this the better. These poor minimum wage workers should not be on the front lines without some kind of serious backup!

I found this on a law firm website yesterday.

If the use of a deadly weapon is the aggravating factor, aggravated battery is a Class X felony which is punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000.

If the alleged victim was apart of law enforcement, a school teacher, or an emergency services worker, the minimum prison sentence increases to 15 years.

If injuries are the aggravating factor, this means you either caused great bodily harm to another person or you disfigured them. Aggravated battery in this circumstance is charged as a Class 3 felony, carrying a punishment of a 2 to 5 year prison sentence and a fine of up to $25,000.

If the victim was a police officer exercising his or her duties, this crime is charged as a Class 1 felony, punishable by 4 to 15 years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines.
If the victim was over the age of 60 years old in this circumstance, the offense becomes a Class 2 felony. It carries penalties of 3 to 7 years of imprisonment and up to $25,000 in fines.

PA has to do what Michigan did and make it a felony to assault an employee who asks you to wear a mask. Jesus Christ on a cracker.

The man and woman then fled from the scene as park security chased after them. Investigators said they were last seen driving away in a vehicle registered in New York.

Police have not released a detailed description of the suspects, but said they both appeared to be between the ages of 20 and 30. They initially said that only the man attacked the teen.

Investigators used surveillance video, park reservation and transaction records and vehicle registration to get preliminary identifications for the duo.

Police detectives will work with New York authorities to officially identify the suspects. One they are identified, authorities will coordinate to have the suspects arrested and extradited to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to face charges.

Too bad enforcer types can't spend a few minutes with this guy in a back room before he's turned over to actual authorities.
