kick ass as AG. Kamala Harris was my pick for President, I think she's terrific. I am thrilled to see her as VP - it is a strong, very supportable ticket. I'll bet you dollars to donuts Joe only stays in for one term, and Kamala runs at the top of the ticket in 2024.
Dear Lord, is that a glimmer of hope I'm feeling?

Rachel's show last night was a real downer.
But knowing that Kamala Harris (who was my first pick too) will be our VP and our President in 2024 makes me very happy.

(15,099 posts)I keep hoping to hear that the House is going to go after the Postmaster General NOW.
I'm in Oregon and we are 100% VBM. I'm not worried about turning IN my ballot - we have drop boxes. I'm worried about receiving it in the first place!

I'm voting for him for two terms and happy that he will have a strong, young VP who could shoulder more of the day-to-day burden under his authority if needed.

(58,785 posts)huge presidential incumbent advantage but especially to give them more time to do what they ran to accomplish in the first place. Eight years isn't nearly enough, while four...!
But if you were just imagining him walking happily away with his job only partially done, okay. He has reassured people concerned about his age that only one term was a possibility. But I won't actually be hoping for whatever disability would make that necessary.

Okay.
I can do this.
Oh, and also spend what little psychic energy i have left that McConnel and Graham take a shit in Nov, too. Check.
But with focus and hope. This is an incredible ticket and yes, we "can do this".
