(8,731 posts)Put out a list of his team ASAP. He has a binder full of Amazing women we need immediately. Dream Team 2020. Michelle Obama to relieve RBG so she can get far away from Kavanaigh. Just being on a bench near him has to be making her ill. The only old white man I want near the White House is Joe. Fill every position with women of every ethnicity.

Only THIS TIME it actually means something...not an EMPTY PATRONIZING bunch of BULLSHIT.
There are SO MANY qualified women to populate this administration it humbles me. THAT coming from a sixty something fat white guy...
Unlike Pence the Putz, I AM NOT AFRAID OR INTIMIDATED BY POWERFUL WOMEN. I welcome them into our party, and look forward to the amazing governess they will provide.
You GO GIRL!!
Madam PRESIDENT 2024 or 2028!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(8,731 posts)Us 60 something old white men have seen a thing or two. Those that did not have their heads up their white ass. Serving during war does that. The talent out there for Joe is like having his own Fantasy football team on draft day and nobody else is picking. Past time for women to take the wheel. They have been picking up after men since the beginning. Now though, shit has been flung on the ceiling, walls and floors. Work to do to save a dying nation. GOP need to stay the hell out tha way.

(251 posts)She is incredibly smart and a total class act. Total class. However, you could tell that the repugs were readying the cannons fodder for her with a whole new batch of fake BS Benghazi... Benghazi... Benghazzzziiiii! all over again. So Kamala was my second choice; a true no-nonsense politician that knows the ropes of the senate and can battle with the best of them. She has a lot of appeal across many states. If the trumpets have anything, she will send it back right at them. Politically, Kamala is the best choice, and she will do well So all good. We really do need competence back in the WH.

(14,565 posts)Let's say the race were solid 8+ points and no concern regarding USPS. I sense Biden and team would have risked all that Benghazi chatter to go with his preferred choice. But given minor tightening and now the USPS uncertainty toward how it impacts the vote, I think they debated back and forth for an extra 10 days before concluding it had to be the safer more strategic pick.
Perfectly understandable even if I would have gone the other way.
Damn shame that Rice went on those Sunday talk shows. One decision severely impacting her career, compared to hundreds of things exponentially worse from Trump each and every week.
