Should we be trying to manage expectations about the VP Debate?

I mean, I am pretty giddy myself about this... but honestly, you look at the matchup, and people passing around the 🍿, and as long as Pence doesn’t wet himself in public, he’ll have done better than expected 🙂 Not that I think the VP debate will be a dealbreaker for most voters, and I have said it more than a few times myself today, but maybe we should be whispering the “She’s gonna eat him alive” stuff til after the debate 😉

The only thing it can do is to shine a very bright light on an idiot.

And there’ll only be one idiot on that stage.

by talking too much, interrupting, etc.

Pence won that debate because he just came across more professional - body language more than actual content is what the typical voter looks at.

Pence is a hypocritical smarmy fundie and it's easy to want to tear into him - but a measured attack that appears presidential would be best - especially since we're ahead.
