In July of 2013 when I opened my Vanity Fair I knew.

https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2013/07/jj-abrams-california-kamala-harris

No stranger to the real world—to discrimination and struggle—this daughter of an Indian-physician mother and a Jamaican-American-professor father is as hopeful and optimistic as anyone I’ve ever met. She has an enormous heart, but she doesn’t only walk the talk. She invents innovative ways of dealing with seemingly intractable problems (see her success in managing elementary-school truancy). She is fun as hell (the Best Belly Laugh in Politics award goes to her), deeply decent, and wise well beyond her years.

I sat in front of the TV, watching him in awe, and I said out loud to myself, 'that man is going to be our first black president.' I just knew.

I feel the same way about Kamala Harris.
The Biden/Harris ticket is going places!

I'd rate it right up there with Mario Cuomo's Democratic National Convention speeches.

I've watched Kamala since her first local buzz here in San Francisco. I'm ready for hope to be born again.

I’m a woman with very expensive feet! That means that I cannot go out and just buy shoes in my very weird 1/2 and narrow foot size.. However, the most expensive shoes ARE made in my size.

I’m too old now (70) to wear heels that high. My opinion is that she is smart, beautiful and a wonderful role model for all women. Her looks are stellar, but her mind is so sharp those around her will be in thrall.

After Trump's predictable pegging of Kamala as "nasty," I had this urge to watch Janet Jackson's classic "Nasty Boys" video again, and from watching it, I think Kamala and Janet have a similar clothing aesthetic!

Go, Kamala! Go, Joe! Go, Dems!

Here's the Daily Mail article from which I got the subject line to this post:
