Amazon UPS Fed Ex and DHL combined couldn’t go to every door every day.

Mailboxes on the street would save USPS a ton of money. I never noticed the number of houses that don’t have mailboxes until I was training for a marathon 10 years ago.

But there's probably a way to effectively donate. E.g., Bloomberg could create a businesses that provides goods and services to the usps at a loss. So it's not a donation, it's just a government service contract that works very well for the post office.

They need to get out from under that draconian retirement pre-funding they were forced into during the Bush misadministration. Without that, they'd be turning a profit. Also, the current Postmaster General not only needs to be removed, he needs to be prosecuted for for all of the illegal actions he has been committing since taking the job.
