trump is in "big" trouble and he is getting desperate to get his numbers up. One thing a narcissist can not stand is to be losing the battle, in this case the election. They will go on the attack, like trump is doing now, blame everybody else for their mistakes, like trump is doing, and come up will all kinds of BS to try regain control of things.

I am sure trump had a lot of these BS announcements ready for his October surprise, and it says a lot that he is not waiting, but starting to throw them out now. I expect more BS like this in the coming weeks ahead.

smoke and mirrors. As for the West Bank stuff , it's cover for Bibi's unsuccessful attempts to annex the area.

Remember this when Trump allies say the agreement is evidence of his diplomatic genius. This is something both sides have been very interested in & exploring for years; they're happy to let him take some glory (which helps them dodge some criticism) but this isn't about him.

6. What are details? Will Israel go for the two-state solution, or revert to pre-1967 borders?

If not, then this is just some feel-good nothing.

Is this part of Kushner's great plan?
