Maybe she is just reacting to what she is watching and coming to the realization that she wasted a lot of time being a republican in the past. Nicolle is a crier and can be emotional. I think that is what is going on.

she looks like she always has, tremendously disappointed that Trump is President.

She's center right, but she's also a fundamentally decent and caring person, and I think she more than most on the stage is emotionally affected by the horrors of Trump.
