According to Weaver's boss, Alex Jones, Weaver had all of Hillary Clinton's emails, proof that the riots in Milwaukee were "planned ahead of time" to make Donald Trump look bad, and also proof that Barack Obama is still personally in control of all of the journalism in the country except for Infowars and uses the CIA, which he is apparently also still in control of, to do this. Jones says that he himself has been approached by these CIA fellas but that he said no thank you.

This all sounds just incredibly plausible, but according to the Portage County Jail official Wonkette spoke to on the phone this morning, Weaver is in fact in jail and was arrested not for doing intrepid journalism or "for obtaining leaked government documents," but rather on charges of robbery, tampering with evidence, domestic violence and obstruction of justice, with a warrant issued by Judge Becky Doherty ... Weaver's partner, Gavin Wince, was also taken into custody ...

1. Millie Weaver et al threw mother to the ground and took her cellphone, police report says

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The felony charges against InfoWars correspondent Millie Weaver stem from an April incident where Weaver, her boyfriend and her brother grabbed her mother, threw her to the ground and stole her cellphone, according to a police report of the incident released Monday.

Weaver’s mother, 51-year-old Felicia McCarron, told Portage County sheriff’s deputies on April 25 that she was recording audio of the trio verbally abusing her when they saw her cellphone in her back pocket and attacked her, a copy of the report obtained by cleveland.com shows.

The report contains written summaries from two deputies who said that Weaver, her brother Charles “Chuck” Weaver Jr. and her boyfriend Gavin Wince gave conflicting stories that contradicted evidence at the scene.

“The story did not stand up to basic scrutiny in the form of basic investigation,” the report says ...

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- InfoWars correspondent Millie Weaver and two others pleaded not guilty at a Monday arraignment in Portage County Common Pleas Court on felony charges including robbery that stem from an April altercation with Weaver’s mother, according to court records.

Portage County Common Pleas Court Judge Becky Doherty set Weaver’s bond at $20,000 and ordered her released on her own recognizance. Weaver’s boyfriend Gavin Wince and brother Charles Weaver pleaded not guilty to the same charges and were issued the same bond ...

While Weaver and her cohorts were in jail, Canadian far-right outlet Rebel Media founder Ezra Levant launched a GoFundMe page benefiting Weaver​, raising more than $137,000 ​by the time of publication. According to a message posted on the GoFundMe page, Levant will transfer this lump sum to Weaver when she is released from custody.

A link to the fundraiser was shared online alongside suggestions that Weaver’s arrest was tied to her latest video, which Weaver claimed would expose a network of contractors hired to carry out a coup against President Donald Trump.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Jones discussed Weaver’s arrest on his Friday broadcast, “claiming, without providing any evidence, that she was arrested for stealing government documents.”

Elijah Schaffer of Glenn Beck’s BlazeTV repeated Jones’ claim that Weaver “was arrested for allegedly obtaining leaked government documents.” Robert Barnes, an attorney who once represented Infowars in defamation lawsuits, stated without proof that Weaver’s arrest was part of a pattern of law enforcement “criminalizing journalism that obtains information from whistleblowers.” The claims coincide with longstanding right-wing narratives about a supposed “deep state” working inside the government to undermine the Trump administration ...

5. Well as a follow up this woman does live a couple miles from my sister though she doesn't know her.

But she said trump signs are all over around there. It’s Discouraging because that’s right next to Lordstown which is an epic failure on trumps part. I’m so glad I moved away in the 70s. I doubt I’d be as brain dead as many there seem to be because I’ve always been interested in history. But I remember as a kid getting hassled when I took a McGovern sign downtown when Nixon’s motorcade came thru.
