I saw the first half hour and thought it was well-done, and it sounds like it only got better from there.

So there ya go...their small world of trickery and lies. She also just flew to vegas to gamble.

(6,229 posts)I did see where Fox pulled away from trump's speech. I too fell asleep, but so glad it's repeated. Hearing Michelle made me all the more sad thinking of how far we have fallen. How will we ever breach the hate gap that has taken over our country?

(10,019 posts)Given the challenges posed by a virtual convention, it was interesting and active. I especially liked the opening where young people of every color sang the Star Spangled Banner. It was a good contrast to the mostly lily white Republican Party.
Bernie gave a good speech, and I really appreciated his ending where he called on his supporters to vote for Biden.
There were several scenes and references throughout to the virus and the number of dead. Some scenes honored healthcare workers.
Michelle Obama did a bang-up job as well with her closing speech. All in all, it was good. I watched on MSNBC, and they did a good job of keeping their commentary to a minimum until it was over.

I dont have a tv or a station streaming service and not the fastest WiFi, so I feel lucky to have been able to watch it at all.
