CLAIM: Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, (D-NV) claimed that "in 2016, 33 million Americans voted by mail and Donald Trump has requested voting through absentee ballot twice this year."
This claim is VERIFIED.
In 2016, 33,378,450 people returned ballots through the mail, according to the US Elections Assistance Commission.
Palm Beach County online records show that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were sent absentee ballots for Florida's presidential preference primary back in March and for the state's regular primary election on Aug. 18, 2020.
The records can be seen by searching their names in the Palm Beach County Elections database.
