Get more people out of poverty and we'll need fewer prisons, a real win-win for everybody.
Less crime should also mean we need fewer police out on the streets.

Even with population growth because the economy was in great shape and our future looked bright. Sure, the job was still unfinished but it was headed in the right direction. But Trump had other ideas, most not very bright, so here we are today. With millions being food insecure crime has predictably spiked and Trump offers nothing that would change that trajectory. The question is a good one.
