it would be easier to rebuke his vile sentiments. But he speaks jibberenglish, so anytime he gets called out for saying something horrible, he just gaslights.

he is hedging on out and out saying there isn't any. I am guessing he doesn't want to offend Putin.

I love the "Democracy is a very important word", kind of implies it is just a word to him. A shock eh?
