I was not aware of this group; I just assumed Trump was doing an anodyne pander to try (ineffectively) to prove he isn't a sexist, misogynistic asshole, which, of course, he is. It's easy and noncontroversial to pardon someone who's been dead for years and didn't do something like, say, lie to the FBI; and he probably thought all us wimminfolk would love him for it. But apparently it's another dog-whistle as well.

2. IMO, as an equivalent, if Trump offered to post the bond of imprisoned SBA,

she'd opt to stay in jail rather than to accept his "largess."
