Why does Trump continue to obsess on the Russia investigation?

When AG Barr shut down the investigation and when the Democrats did not pursue any of the charges during the impeachment, why did he not just let it die?

Because he knows someone has the evidence and he must continue to try and immunize himself with his followers? So long as his supporters believe he is innocent, that is all the cover he needs.

But, he cannot let the issue die. Because there is something there that he does not want to be known.

In typical Trumpian fashion, he calls it a "hoax' and "fake news". He is forever trying to minimize and to degrade whatever might be made public.

The reason he obsesses about it is because he knows it is there...

I should really separate the two statements but it’s been there for oh at least 15 years so I think I’ll keep it.

Thanks for noticing.

I was without my iPad for most of the shutdown. Sig lines don’t show up on the phone.

... for that to be the reason. I think it’s just a legitimacy issue. He understands that getting help from the Russians makes him an illegitimate president. He spent years attacking Obama’s legitimacy. He cant stand it that now he’s the one being questioned. So he can’t let it go.

he absolutely needs to keep muddying the waters as it seems there is more and more collaberation coming out between the Mueller Report, the HPSCI in their investigation and now the SSCI report.

He was able to get Barr to muddy the Mueller Report and flat out refused to cooperate in the HPSCI investigation. Now this report is by all indications validating both those reports, it will cause anything that the Durham Report decides to throw out there to be viewed with the degree of skepticism that many may not have had before.

His ego cannot stand the truth to be out there that he did not 'win' the Oval Office--he cheated. If the truth were well publicized without counter measures to shut it down then his followers might start realizing the truth. He would be disgraced and revealed as nothing more than a sham--a loser.

The Orange A-Hole is more worried about his Image and Legacy than the damage he has caused around the world.

Something that I noticed in the last few weeks,is the Boy developing a truly split personality? Notice he is drifting at times towards a Second Character dissimilar to his Reality TV created Presonna. Notice a total dependence on Strawman Talking points. Always using some people say this or that. Typical of someone who has checked out so to speak.

Of collusion with the Russians at the expense of his own country. He's a traitor and desperately wants to avoid accountability. At the election box and in the courts.

Senate panel finds former Trump campaign chairman was a ‘grave counterintelligence threat'

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released a report detailing its findings on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, including the assessment that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s contacts with Kremlin-linked officials posed a “grave counterintelligence threat."

The report states that Manafort worked with a Russian intelligence officer “on narratives that sought to undermine evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election,” including the idea that election interference by Ukraine was of greater concern.

The panel also found that some of the Trump campaign’s other Russian contacts had closer ties to Moscow’s government and intelligence services than previously reported.

Trump’s campaign responded by repeating the president’s claim that allegations of Russian collusion are a “hoax” and “the greatest political scandal in the history of this country.”

They do not want to be caught & prosecuted as this would disrupt their comrade clan.

Also, is there a chance that all the policies & judge appointments to be nullified? I highly doubt it, but this is a thought for consideration.
