Here in my crazy piece of Florida, Early Voting in person begins October 19. That is 62 days from now.
I will have a completed Absentee ballot as soon as it hits my mailbox, but will only use that if I'm physically unable to vote in person.
Voting in today's Primary got me even more psyched up.
I cannot wait until then, 62 days.

I anticipate my Registrar of Voters will have my returned ballot acknowledged as received by the 12th of October, but the validation may take a few more days; they will have a tall stack to work through.

(17,340 posts)We're hoping that they are in the Philadelphia County Elector's office in 7 days.
We'll still vote our regular absentee ballots as soon as we get them and possibly will be sending them FedEx if the board of elections will accept that.

(7,939 posts)We are writing to remind you that earlier this year, you signed up to be an annual mail-in voter in Pennsylvania or you recently applied for a mail-in ballot for the general election. Thank you! If you still live in the same county as when you applied, you do not need to re-apply for a mail-in ballot. You will receive a ballot in the mail in September or October, and you will be able to securely vote from the comfort and safety of your home. We are contacting all mail-in ballot applicants, so they do not mistakenly submit duplicate requests.
To track your ballot, visit votesPA.com/MailBallotStatus and enter your information. Right now, your status will be listed as pending. If you check your status closer to the election, you will see when your ballot is mailed and when your voted ballot has been received by your county election office.
Moved? Moving? Will move?
If you recently moved, or will move before the November election, contact your county election office to ensure your mail-in or absentee ballot will be sent to your new address. If you moved out of your county, you will need to change your registration and request to maintain your permanent mail-in ballot status or have your existing mail-in application transferred. If you no longer wish to vote by mail, you may also contact your county election office to change your permanent mail-in ballot status.
Thank you, and stay safe and well,
Kathy Boockvar

We've never had ealry, absentee, or mail-in voting before, but we flipped the state blue last year and as a result, democracy is now legal in Virginia.

Dunno what it means for the general, but for the primary I voted early and was the only one in there.
