(11,949 posts)But why are we having entertainers in a political convention?
I get it, people think having Billy Eilish perform might appeal to young folks. But is feels like silly pandering to me. And it takes time away from serious matters. So Senator Warren gives a very compelling speech about income inequality and then I have to listen to a recent pop singer? We don't need to use entertainers to demonstrate the diversity of our party. We have a real politicians.
At least none of them are speaking.
The only thing that matters here are Harris and President Obamas speeches.
Not saying we should not hear the others. But only 2 will be remembered.
