ok, I just watched on youtube Day 1 of the Democratic National Convention

The primetime 2 hours anyways.
I watched it on a big screen and with really good sound - the production made excellent use of it.

Here are my notes, written as I watched:

- What a lineup!
- What a production! Very good!
- Wonderful speeches. Many were just masterfully written and usually masterfully delivered.
- Cuomo - "Thrive and grow, and live or die..."
- The republican with the great Long Island accent. Love it!
- Doug Jones!
- Good job hitting the USPS issue.
- "When you pray, move your feet!"
- "We will flip the US Senate!"
- "Out of many - one"
- Bernie Sanders! Damn, can he orate! Love the hands! "This is not normal" and "The price of failure is just too great to imagine"
- Michelle - "a presidential election can reveal who we are"
- Concluded with a really long prayer...

1. My only negative is no Closed Caption (CC). I'll have to listen later to it when I have no one

around to really turn the volume up real loud, but late at night, too many neighbors around.

3. Thanks so much for the tip. I tried watching last night a lot of the clips on YouTube, and a lot of

them didn't have CC yet ... and w/ the way I hear, and very close neighbors are, roommate sleeping relatively close by, I don't like turning the volume on the TV up at all (0%) and disturbing people ...

Thanks again for the tip, I really really do appreciate it, since I'm a big YouTube advocate/watcher and watch YouTube literally all night.
