I smell a rat.

After you read this article, is it possible Mittwit has set up his donors exactly the way he set up unsuspecting companies when he was the head of Bain. I've asked this before: can he keep whatever is left over in his coffers and stiff his donors:

think there's anyplace on earth where he can hide from the Koch Bros. You would think taking millions and millions of dollars to run for office and then making sure you lost would be illegal. Bet if you or I did such a thing it would be.

I don't remember details, but he dumped $50M into his 2008 campaign, and took it as a "bad debt" loss.

The rules have changed - the real money is in the super-PACs and the "education" PACS, and they're none too transparent. I'd look for a skim or kickback situation there, perhaps going directly offshore.
