I haven't had time to follow this story closely, but assume that a large majority of the victims are ardent trump supporters.
Has anyone seen an estimate of how many people made contributions?
Also, are there any estimates of the average size of the contributions?

(8,977 posts)Fools and their money are soon parted. Racist fools who are fleeced are more than deserving of their predicament. As for Bannon, he is despised by many to now include racists and xenophobia.

half a million saps. Then again, they may have averaged only $10 bucks a pop, and that's 2,500,000
saps.
Lots of saps at any rate.

(589 posts)Well I couldn't find anything specific on the web, but a few minutes ago on NBC nightly news, they said there were "hundreds of thousands" of victims. There was also a very brief interview with a wealthy Texan who said that he and some of his friends were each asked to contribute $1000 for one "share" and did so.

(244 posts)All of the contributors are obviously Trumpettes. But most of them simply dont care. Its just another case of the Deep State coming after them. They dont believe they were taken for a ride. Same way with the NRA. Theyre being scammed and robbed, but they simply dont believe it.
This is what were up against folks. Sadly.
