(4,292 posts)But in this case, I think the interviewee might just add enough heat on his own.
Still, adding a bit of hot sauce to the corn-popper this evening, just in case.

(4,483 posts)Why didn't you speak up when it mattered? Why did you go along with his illegal schemes and say nothing *at the time* they were being carried out?
This guy is no hero, and he deserves nothing--no praise, no reduction in sentence (unless he testifies against Trump & Co in a trial where what he says will help convict the bastards)--because we already know, or have guessed, the evil deeds he witnessed and took part in.
At this point, it's just more preaching to the choir. Look at all these folks who knew what Trump was and what he had done, and let him serve for four years with their mouths firmly shut. Fuck them all.

(4,483 posts)All these guys didn't have their come to Jesus moments until *years* after they could have stopped these crimes. And now they're having the vapors about the horribleness of the crimes they willingly participated in. It's too late.

(8,073 posts)yield a bounty of information which is currently being used in several different court cases. You can't undo your past anymore than Michael Cohen can. But you can do right going forward.

(19,204 posts)for the rest of his life. Oh, he's SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry about it now! Hindsight is 20/20. He should have thought about what he was doing at the time, especially since he had no new evidence to present. He'll always be a king-sized jackass in my book.

(4,079 posts)There was a time (after that Ashcroft hospital room event during W's admin) when I liked Comey, but after the '16 election I changed my mind about him. And he has spent three years trying to justify that shit. What he did violated the hell out of DOJ policy, which at that time still meant something. He needs to apologize.

Michael Cohen is no better or worse than the Lincoln Project...those guys hate Trump more than than hate Democrats..so now they're working with us...but these are the same guys who brought us to this place and time..Michael Cohen did not...they are GOP operatives..and then there's the pundit class, Mika, Joe, Willie, Andrea..they knew what Trump was..a depraved narcissistic sociopath...a sexual predator, a conman, but because they despised the Clintons with a burning hot passion, they cleaned up their party buddy and presented him as a viable candidate..they told their viewers that yes he may sound like a illiterate mafia thug but if he's elected he'll grow, he'll change..instead, he debased the office, turned it into his own personal ATM, an peed on the carpet...and when they chided him for it, he went after them like the malicious playground bully he is...and then out of the ashes of "oops our mistake" came Never Trumpers... as for Michael Cohen...he was a fixer, a houseboy...enamored with the life, enamored with the money...when he was subpoenaed he testified which was something Bolton did not do, something McGrath did not do...and yes Michael Cohen is slime but if he causes Trump pain then let's use him.... Yay Rachel!!!!!

(7,024 posts)your anger at those who had the chance to rid this cancer from the world. Republicans had the opportunity to impeach and remove this criminal once and for all. They still do by not voting for him and find a different path to fascism.

(4,483 posts)I'm sick of these guys who knowingly participated in criminal acts and then want to be praised for telling about it years later, when they shouldn't have done it in the first place, and they should have reported it to authorities at the time it was being done.

(7,024 posts)all we know about trump and for many reasons nothing stopped him. Impeachment was the only way he could have been stopped.

(62,465 posts)Just saying to Mrs. Lib that Maddow is the best in the business.
Will be ringside for this one. Maddow will no doubt ask some question that will make headlines.
Maddow should be the Meet the Press host. She deserves it.

(1,040 posts)... I understand.
However, I am choosing to look at this as if Mr. Cohen was an informant planted within an organization, and because of what he did and what he saw, he can take the whole damn thing down. If hadn't done what he did, he wouldn't be able to say what he's saying now.
I know, he knowingly participated in all the sh*t that went down. But now he is able to talk about it, and that makes it a "little" worth it in my estimation.

(9,090 posts)in 2014 and trump was getting reports from him. does cohen know what stone was looking for from nunberg and if those reports were going to russia too?
the russian ops in included hacking LOCAL and state dem offices and talk radio stations allow the cons to localize their use of that information. for instance, if they get secret dem personal info on candidates A through Z and they want to use it they just give it to the different relevant state /local radio stations of have callers say "well i heard that candidate A was so and so "... etc.
talk radio needs to be exposed as a putin tool and discredited before the election.

(1,494 posts)It's awesome that Cohen will be spilling the beans to Rachel, but that's more or less preaching to the choir. Don't get me wrong, I think he's going to have some very juicy and scary things to share. But those that tune into Faux news need to hear what he has to say, as they probably aren't Rachel viewers. Just my 2 cents worth.

Please don't get it twisted, Mr. Cohen. You're just one of hundreds of corrupt criminals who helped trump break the law, only to be burned by him later on.
