Hardcore Republicans with no interest in changing?

These dumber than average people still in his corner, have been bamboozled for decades by right wing hate radio, Rush included, and Fox News among other things designed to do it.

Some really believed President Obama was evil and born in Kenya.

The South is eaten up with them, folks raised in a culture founded on white supremacy, chattel slavery and modeled after the cruelties of Barbados slave masters. It grew into a feudal system, was forced to end slavery, then spent the next 180 years hating the United States government even as it depended on them for survival.

The other area major region of the nation that backs him is characterized by anarcho-capitalist leanings, an ultra-libertarianism marked by paranoia and extreme selfishness.

...who would vote for Zombie Reagan if they could.

As Noam Chomsky said decades ago, these are not Conservatives. Nothing they do is conservative. This is racist white nationalism, not that dissimilar to the rise of the Nazis.

With social media we have the ability to group together in tribes that reinforce our feeling of belonging to something in an increasingly separated world. Even if what we belong to is a Qanon conspiracy cult that believes in shape-shifting lizard people who drink the blood of babies.

Don and the "Cons" have jumped the shark...

He's the Law & Order President, except Law & Order is a fictional TV show, and he seems not to know that. He is and always was a C-list wanna be reality show "star." Methinks "star" might really mean attention whore...

The only thing Mike Judge failed to nail down was WHEN it takes place. 2505? Nope. More like 2015.

It’s all culture war stuff now since the 90s. And negative partisan politics (ie ‘owning the libs’).

Every.

Single.

Step.

A couple of them let out the occasional flatulent burp of disapproval or concern, but none took action. None stood up and fought him, much less tried to rally others to the fight.

If Kelly ends up with a spine and confirms, I think we'll see the hate base shrink some... Maybe a couple a points. The rest will make excuses because he still hates all the same people they hate. The remaining will make exceptions and excuses... Maybe vote twice and be charged with a felony.
