(32,060 posts)Through the first mailer and did not have to pay any postage. At that time LaRose hadnt announced he was going to try and get postage paid for the state ballot requests.
I think multiple organizations offering ballot requests is confusing to the voter ... there should be only one official ballot request mailer and should only be non partisan and offered through the state ... postage paid. Either that or request your ballot online. Something we definitely need to fix the next time around.

(44,974 posts)The requests he send out didn't not have prepaid return envelops included. I am not sure what mailer you received that had a prepaid return envelope. I mailed my request using my own stamp.

(32,060 posts)From The Center for Voter Education or similar ... I cant remember the exact organization... I called my county BOE right away to ask if they were legit and they said yes. They included a postage paid return envelope. The BOE had to call my son because he forgot to put his birth date on his form, so I know theyre being processed.
