The government, who he knew and rejoiced at robbing them while he got richer from any source.

So should he and all of those like him who have been robbing Americans of their health care, pensions, homes, jobs, schools and their daily bread.

Oh, yes, you should answer us all, Mr. Romney, you and your pals the Koch brothers, etc.

I wonder if Romney's comments were as callous as they sounded or if he truly is uninformed. It's possible that he doesn't know that people can be laid off or retired and be among the 47%, or working two jobs and still be eligible for food stamps. He has never experienced budgeting the way most people have to. He doesn't know how money works for most of us.

I don't know which possibility is scarier in somebody running for President--that he's deliberately cruel or that he's that blithely ignorant. His social policies would be much the same either way.
