I had no idea that it was occurring almost everywhere in the US. I thought that only Texas (my state) was dumb enough to drill these wells on a mass scale. The Cheney legacy will be the environmental destruction of the entire country.
I feel sick to my stomach after watching the poor people whose lives have been destroyed.

(3,411 posts)If making healthcare unaffordable for Americans isn't enough, they have to be making Americans sick through bad quality drinking water due to fracking, bad quality air due to fracking, unregulated food (including untested potentially contaminated food from the Gulf of Mexico as well as from Asia), GMO food, unhealthy but cheap food, and robbing Americans of economic security through the mortgage crisis, student loan debt, job insecurity, healthcare debt, etc... AND our freedoms are being robbed more and more by a government that gives no respect to the constitution anymore.
NOT to mention the threat of old nuclear power plants that aren't efficiently maintained, and if something like Fukushima happened, would radiate much of the eastern U.S...
This IS a war against the American people! Or in other words, a War against the 99%! By the treasonous backstabbing 1%!
Or maybe this is the equivalent to being on the passenger side of a car where a crazy incredibly reckless person is driving! The insane business world is in the drivers seat of America!
