Is this going to get Trump re-elected?

I couldn't sleep last night and woke up panicked like it's 11/10/16 again.

What are my fellow Democrats gut feeling about this? Is the next 45 days going to be about a single issue: Roe v Wade and the open Supreme Court seat? Because if it is I'm afraid Trump is going to be able to pull off another Electoral College "win."

The way McConnell announced 90 minutes after she was dead that he's going to fill her seat is despicable. I'm starting to see why most people hate politics and avoid the news. Following this never-ending chaos is depressing. .

When a person posts he or she should ask themselves what their post does to the morale of other posters unless lowering the morale of other posters is not unintentional.

it will equally if not more motivate democrats and others who want to preserve the aca, lgbt rights and roe vs wade to come out. You can already see it in the explosion of donations to democrats on actblue.

This fight will motivate the small percentage of never Trump Republicans that had been alienated up to this point.

This fight will hurt more than it helps. Biden should still beat Trump but I think this will hurt our chances of taking the senate.

of Trump is to stick somebody in there who will overturn Roe. Women, for the most part, are pissed as hell and ready to fight back. Throw that into the general Trump stew of overturning the ACA, losers and suckers and people dropping dead by the hundreds of thousands and I'm still betting on Biden.

If they get what they want and install a RW SOB, more people will vote for Biden.
If they let it go and wait, then more RWer's will vote so they can get their anti-abortion court.
This is how I see it.

I just hope Biden has it in him to take radical actions when he gets into office. I feel Harris does, and I am glad for that.

He can take a middle road like Clinton’s “safe, legal, and rare” philosophy. He can call for expanded access to birth control. He can also call on young and middle aged females to avoid returning to the days prior to Roe when they had no options.

His second speech he needs to prepare should connect the Merrick Garland debacle with RBG. He should announce that he and a Democratic Congress will support expanding the SCOTUS by at least the same number of justices that the GOP corruptly and cynically pushes through. He will call on Americans to support him in preserving a cherished institution.

Drill down hard on those "social security disappears in 2023 under Trump and Republicans" ads and some of the would be "SCOTUS" voters suddenly have their own individual survival to consider.

the virus or extermination, they do it by taking your SS and Medicare and eliminating employment rights etc.

If someone was about to kill you (the collective you) what extent would you go to?

Is there another use for any extra money you have more important (again, the collective you, everybody, not just the person in the OP) than donating to Joe and other Democrats?

etc

Contributions to Act Blue went crazy right after the announcement of RBG's death, and early voting in VA has surpassed anything they've ever seen. Seems it's activating us, bigly.

Think I'm still in a state of shock about RBG. Going to stay off Facebook and Twitter for a while because it's all doom and gloom right now.

Trying to be grateful and not hateful. We've got a great ticket for November 3rd. Can't wait to vote for Biden/Harris. Early voting starts in my state on October 13th.
