My subscription to the NYT is worth every dime.

Their treatment of Senator Sander's campaign pissed me off, but not enough to cancel my subscription. Politics is only one of the topics they report. Today they made it all worthwhile. There will be Pulitzer prizes for their investigation of Trump's shady grifting. Hat's off to the Gray Lady.

Edit: And thanks to the brave sources who brought this information into the sunlight.

to cancel it at the end of last year because I was fed up with their both-siderism, whataboutism, and other kinds of bullshit coverage - plus, I retired and it was no longer affordable on my new fixed income.

However, they made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so now my subscription costs only $1/month - I can afford that.

For every good story done, there are many bad ones and bad headlines to follow. What ever they have to say will eventually be distilled to other sources.

It is important for journalists to have non-ad based revenue.
