If you don't pass, you don''t get to be a nominee. DNC could lead the way on this -- announce loudly that we'll be vetting **ALL** our candidates, because we're not at all worried about what the FBI will find !!

Failing that -- FBI checks all candidates,then each candidate decides for him/herself whether or not to release results !

If voters want to vote for someone who wont take a background test, or doesn't pass, that's their choice. After this, they'd think about it a lot harder.

They're supposed to be doing their own vetting already. This has failed so spectacularly for Uglicans that they need independent vetting to be believable. Dems could request the same thing with few worries, and publicize the results. If Uglicans didn't do the same, they'd lose at least some public trust.

When people file to run for office a certain number of years of taxes are released to public.
