Not only that, I have thought that he might say that he is approving a large stimulus check for qualifying households plus extra money (and an extension) added to state unemployment benefits.

It wouldn’t be because he actually cares about any of us. It would be strictly to present himself as a magnanimous, generous “President of the People.” All of that would be a lies. But some people would eat that up.

I honestly do not believe I’d be surprised by anything he might say or do tonight.

10. A vaccine isn't going to make up for a totally incompetent response for the past 6-7 months

There is still nothing remotely resembling an effective national response. We locked down for a couple months and then Trump demanded that the economy be re-opened, encouraging his supporters to "liberate" locked down states, and then a couple of months later demanded that schools be re-opened and he's started his hate rallies back up

And all of that above is just really the tip of the iceberg in terms of his response (or lack thereof).
