Georgetown Law School- "unauthorized private militia groups at polling places"

ICAP has created fact sheets for all 50 states explaining the laws barring unauthorized private militia groups and what to do if groups of armed individuals are near a polling place or voter registration drive. Select a state from the menu below to view the corresponding fact sheet.

Is there a law against that? Maybe just in the swing states or states where known militias are out?

Let's hope they pull out all the stops at the polls. So stupid we even need to talk about it.

I live near one of the areas where Proud Boys are so proudly prancing around and there's not really that many of them. My thinking is, sure a few will get all riled up and run around ready to shoot at a squirrel but most are smart enough to realize it'd be illegal and don't really want to end up in jail or worse prison.

After their 10,000 expected rally at Delta Park resulted in maybe 500 (looked like even less to me), and they had put out the word, country-wide to come to Portland! So, apparently the vast majority are not in the mood to bother.

Contact your local election board. Also contact your local Dem committee office. The videos might be needed and useful in court cases. At the very least, they will alert people to what is happening, especially if any peculiar vote counts show up in places where the militias have been. Or, if there are any post election threats to people who voted in those precincts. Or to counteract claims from the orange fascist about voter fraud that the militia supposedly witnessed.

back when Obama was president, about two black guys at a poling placethey labeled as "Black Panther". Now you have a nincompoop at the White House actively calling his minions to go on and intimidate voters.

Police protection needed to prevent interference with voters' right?

Yeah, ok. For a third world country, it's normal. It happens all the time. USA on the other hand . . . .
