https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/01/media/chris-wallace-trump-biden-debate/index.htmlNew York (CNN Business)Chris Wallace, the Fox News anchor who moderated Tuesday's debate, is placing the bulk of the blame on President Donald Trump for sending the political showdown into chaos.
Wallace, who had in a Wednesday interview with The New York Times declined to pin the culpability on Trump, told his colleague Bill Hemmer during an interview Thursday that he believes Trump "bears the primary responsibility for what happened."
"I had baked this beautiful, delicious cake and then frankly the President put his foot in it," Wallace said.

I put the blame entirely on Trump and refuse to provide him cover by blaming Wallace

Yeah, I agree. I mean, Wallace didn't come off well, though he got stronger as the night went on ...

They would have given him a good clue about what to expect.

the debate, or you would end this assault on V.P. Biden.

(10,279 posts)10. He should have put his reputation in his briefcase, picked it up, and walked out. Considering
the level of assault by Trump on Biden with Wallace trying to stop it, Biden would have known that it would be hopeless to stay and try to continue.

(36,343 posts)7. I would agree. Blaming Wallace is letting Trump off the hook
Trump, and Trump alone, is entirely responsible for the fiasco of a debate.

but when it comes to blame, it's very clearly on trump. There were rules that he agreed to but clearly had no intention to actually follow.
Clearly fogged in

Maybe Chris Wallace can find the golden ticket out of faux news now, Capone's hidden vault.
